If you, or a friend, are serious about learning to fly an aeroplane, then there is no better place to start than with this introductory course of dual aeroplane flight training, with 3 full hours counting towards your PPL(A) pilot licence.
With three lessons including classwork, ground school and hands-on dual-control flying, you'll get a comprehensive introduction to flying and gain 3 flying hours for your pilot logbook.
In the classroom you'll learn:
- Theory of flight
- Aircraft safety
- Planning a flight
Then it's out to the airfield:
- Learn how get into and out of the aircraft
- Do pre-flight checks
- Become familiar with the instrument panel
- Start the aircraft
- Taxy to the take-off position
- Take-off
- Straight and level flight
- Banking
- Descent and landing
