Spend a day handling, flying and walking with some glorious birds of prey.
This falconry is a home for over 70 birds which are very well looked after by a small, experienced and friendly team. The course gives you the opportunity to handle and fly some of the centres’ hawks and owls. After a snack lunch you will have the chance to walk with a hawk around the stunning local countryside. Finally to end the day, you can capture your wonderful experience by having pictures with an eagle, this is definitely an unforgettable day.
Your experience starts with an informative tour and introduction to the centre where you will meet the trainers and see the birds of prey close up. You will be handling and flying the owls and hawks that live at the centre. After lunch you will go on a walk with a hawk and to end the day you will have your picture taken with an eagle. The trainers are happy to answer any questions you have about the centre and birds of prey.

Information and Restrictions

All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. Participants must be aged 14 years and over.
