Enjoy half a day learning, flying and walking with birds of prey!
The centre is situated in a fantastic location with access to woodlands, a heath and grassland so there is plenty of space for the birds to show off their extraordinary flying talents. You will have a quick training session where you will learn how to fly the birds and some falconry terms then take them out on a hawk walk where you will experience the brilliance of the raptors flying as a team. This is an unforgettable experience not to be missed.
Your experience starts with an informative tour of the centre where you will see the variety of birds of prey close up and learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. After that, you will have the chance to fly some of them to the fist under the watchful eye of the trainer. Finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities when you are on your hawk walk so you capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.
