Take control of a Cessna 152 as you fly through the air above the marvellous Essex countryside
Take to the skies under expert, CAA qualified supervision. You will be piloting a light aircraft during your 60 minute lesson, where you will not only learn about flight principles and how the planes are maintained and engineered but will also gain some flying experience. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Essex countryside as you pass overhead. This is an excellent experience which is sure to be unforgettable.
Upon arrival at the flight centre you will be instantly greeted by the welcoming friendly staff. After a short briefing you will be taken to the clouds. Once the checks have been carried out and you have run through the control with your instructor, you will take control. Fly through the clouds and feel as free as bird. If you do not feel confident enough to fly, sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent views of the Essex countryside.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months for one person. On receipt of this voucher you are free to call the flying centre to book your lesson. When you book it is essential to inform the centre if you are over 6'2” or over 15 stone as an extra charge maybe necessary as a bigger plane maybe required. The minimum age for this experience is 12 years old. If the participant is under 18 a parent or guardian needs to join them on the day, but they do not need to come in the plane. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch the flight. It is essential that you become a temporary member of the air centre on the day, it is free of charge and ensures you are covered by the centres' insurance. All lessons are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.
