Soar amongst the clouds like a bird with this 30 minute flying lesson
Make your debut flying lesson one to remember with a CAA approved instructor at this excellent flying club. During your lesson you will be flying a Cessna 150 two seater light aircraft. Have complete hands on control from take off to just before touch down. Enjoy marvellous birds-eye views of the glorious Midlands countryside and historic sites. To end your lesson, you will be awarded a certificate for keepsake. This is an ideal taster class for any budding pilot or plane enthusiast.
On arrival to the flying club you will be asked to become a temporary member for the day so that you are covered by the centre's insurance whilst flying. You will have a short pre-flight briefing with your well-qualified, friendly instructor who will be happy to answer any questions you have about flying or aircraft. Your pilot will have control of landing and takeoff, but once air borne, you will be in control. Once you have landed you will be presented with a certificate. Your flight time can be used for any further training to get a full pilot's license.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months, for one person. On receipt of this you are free to call the air centre and book your lesson. When you book it is essential to inform the centre if you are over 6'4” or over 16 stone, as an extra charge may be necessary if a bigger plane is required. The minimum age for this experience is 14 years old. If the participant is under 18 a parent or guardian needs to join them on the day. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch you fly. It is essential that you become a temporary member of the air centre on the day - this is free of charge and it ensures you are covered by the centre's insurance. All lessons are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.
