Disappear into the clouds over the beautiful Herefordshire countryside
This is the ideal location for your first taste of piloting. Surrounded by marvellous countryside and close to the Welsh Hills, there is plenty to see whilst in the air and learning. You will be flying with a professional pilot in a two-seater Cessna 152. With this location's excellent flying facilities and vibrant, friendly staff, you are sure to have an incredible lesson.
You will be greeted by the reception staff who will ask you to fill out a temporary membership - this is free of charge and ensures you are covered by the club's insurance. Then, after a quick briefing with your instructor, it’s off into the sky you go. The pilot training you will handle the takeoff and landing, but whilst you are in the air you will be in control for the most part. The time counted during your lesson can be time put towards a further pilot training. The lesson will last for approximately 30 minutes.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months, for one person. On receipt of the voucher you are free to call the flying club directly to book your lesson. When you book it is essential that you inform the centre if you are over 6'4” or over 16 stone as an extra charge maybe necessary as a bigger plane maybe required. The minimum age for this experience is 14 years old. If the participant is under 18 a parent or guardian needs to join them on the day. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch you fly. It is essential that you become a temporary member of the air centre on the day, it is free of charge and it ensures you are covered by the centres’ insurance. All lessons are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.
