There's nothing quite like leaping out of an aeroplane for the first time. The rush of adrenaline, the extraordinary sensation of falling towards the earth at 120 mph and the delightful sensation of floating gently down when the parachute opens. This experience is one of life's 'musts'.
A Ram Air Progression System (RAPS) Static Line Course involves approximately 8 hours training before jumping from around 3,500 feet. The jump will usually take place on the Saturday morning following mid-week training. The parachute is deployed by a static line, secured to a strong point in the aircraft, and serves to pull the parachute out of its container as you jump and fall away.
Group Size: It's likely that there'll be other people in your group. Your activity will last for 1 day, but you should be available the following day also.

This may not be suitable if you suffer from epilepsy, severe head injuries, recurrent blackouts/giddiness, disease of the brain/nervous system, high blood pressure, heart/lung disease, diabetes, weakness/dislocation of limbs. The max weight is 14½ You must be at least 16 years old to do this activity and under 18s require parental consent. You must have a signed BPA Fitness Form, signed by a parent or guardian if 16-18 & Consent to Parachute. 40-50s Doctor's Certificate portion of declaration signed.
