Details
This is a trip of pure nostalgia. There is something about an open-cockpit biplane. It has a timeless grace and beauty which perfectly captures the romance and adventure of pioneering aviation.
You will receive a full pre-flight briefing from your instructor who will also kit you out in the traditional leather flying jacket, helmet and goggles (leather jackets are subject to availability).
Once in the air, your instructor will demonstrate how to fly the aircraft and if you wish, give you an opportunity to take the controls for a real hands-on flying experience.
As you look out of the open cockpit, the countryside passes below you. You really could have stepped back in time to the 1930's. The flight itself lasts for 20-25 minutes but you should allow approximately one hour for this experience.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 9 month's validity. Public Liability Insurance is included for this experience. As aviation requires good weather conditions, flights are subject to cancellation at short notice. Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden from all events. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be excluded from activities.

Maximum height 6 foot 4 ins.
Maximum weight 101kg / 16 stone.
There are no specific medical requirements but the flight is exciting and exhilarating. If in doubt please ask your doctors opinion.
